About Bryanston

Bryanston is an upper class, wealthy residential suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. It was established in 1969 as a suburb of Sandton, but after municipal boundaries were revised following the end of Apartheid, it was merged with Johannesburg to form part of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality. The six land N1 freeway forms its northern boundary with access at William Nicol offramp.

It has a fairly new business area called The Campus running along the two main roads, William Nicol and Main Road. Many large corporations are based in Bryanston, such as Dimension Datat (DiData), which runs a large corporate campus (The Campus), Glaxo Smith Kline, which is also based at the Campus, Microsoft Corporation, Ogilvy & Mather and Synovate.

The Bryanston Shopping Center caters for the affluent community of Bryanston and its surrounding areas. The center boasts 55 stores catering from beauty, fashion, food, services and more. The tenant mix at Bryanston appeals to the wealthy residents in the area. There is a diversity of superb coffee shops and top restaurants from which you can choose from. Set in the heart of Sandton 's residential belt is the Bryanston Country Club . This country club is an established sporting and social facility, founded in 1948.
